The Hyde Park Jazz Festival is pleased to provide FREE Bus Service between venues during the Festival.
The Midway Plaisance is the transportation hub for the Festival, where you will find clearly marked bus stops. Free buses service is available at all other venues during associated performance hours between 1:00 PM–10:45PM on Saturday. Buses are clearly marked HYDE PARK JAZZ FESTIVAL. Route information will be posted on buses and is in the Festival program, which is available here. For those interested in walking, many of the venues are within walking distance of each other. The bus will wait until 10 minutes after the conclusion of the performance.

Car
All University of Chicago surface lots are free and open to the public for the Jazz Festival. The majority of festival venues are located in close proximity to each other. Attendees are encouraged to park and then walk to the venues of interest. University of Chicago surface lots will be free during the Festival, as well as Kenwood Academy’s parking lot at Lake Park and E. Hyde Park. The Parking Garage at 55th & Ellis/Greenwood will be open at a nominal charge.
Bicycle

Public Transportation (Metra & CTA)
