Grammy-winning bassist Christian Dillingham is that rare musician who excels in both the classical and jazz worlds. He enjoys crossing genres and has performed with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Grant Park Symphony, Present Music, Alarm Will Sound, Fulcrum Point New Music Project, and Chicago Opera Theatre, and is also a member of the Chicago Sinfonietta and the Chicago Philharmonic.

Dillingham has performed throughout the world and appears regularly at Chicago venues including the Jazz Showcase, Constellation, and The Hungry Brain, as well as at the Chicago Jazz Festival. He has performed with dozens of celebrated musicians including Herlin Riley, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Peter Bernstein, Terreon Gully, Kevin Mahogany, Willie Pickens, Dee Alexander, Victor Goines, Bobby Broom, Sean Jones, Greg Ward, and Mike Reed. As a recording artist, Dillingham has recorded with a wide range of artists including Kirk Franklin, John Legend, and Ledisi.
